Getting Started with Gifted Education Services

 

All families begin with a consultation with Dr. Whitney to determine the best plan for the child. Call Dr. Whitney at (614) 562-6140 to set up an appointment. Plan to bring some of your child's latest work, as well as any test scores and progress reports that you can bring to the session. The plan will be developed between you and Dr. Whitney. Normally, weekly sessions are advised, but Dr. Whitney also will work with your family to see what other options might work best. These options can change as the child develops.

 

Gifted Education Services can include any combination of the following:

 

1. Educational therapy

2. One-to-one gifted sessions

3. Small-group literature based unit studies

4. Small-group math-related unit studies

5. Independent study

6. Social coaching

7. Test prep

8. SAT/ACT Prep

9. Administration of gifted testing
